Save Money With Preventative Electrical Maintenance

One of the best ways to save money on your electrical needs is to have your home regularly inspected by a professional, licensed and insured electrician.

By having your home checked at least once per year, you will lessen the risk of suffering an emergency electrical problem. 

Here are some  tips that you can implement to ensure that you prevent serious electrical problems. 

• Always check to be sure you are not overloading outlets.

• Do not use extension cords on a permanent basis.  These can become a source of fire and can cause serious damage.  

• Always use products that have the Underwriter’s Laboratory (UL) seal.  

• Stop using any appliance, outlet or fixture once it shows signs of damage. 

• If you see frayed cords, exposed wires or sparks call stop using the product immediately.
