Don't Pay The Electrician Until The Job Is Complete

This is a fundamental rule that applies to all your contracting projects...not just electrical.

• Before you pay in full,  make sure that everything that was agreed upon in writing has been completed properly.  

• Once you write that check or hand over your cash, you are essentially stating that you are pleased with the work performed. 

If you are pleased with the work performed and pay in full, be sure that the written estimate you received before the work began is signed by both you and the electrician.
