Have Your Electrician Give You A Written Estimate

It is vitally important that you get a written estimate after discussing the details of your project or repair with a professional, licensed, insured electrician.
A written estimate (or contract) should detail:
- Services to be performed
- Cost for the services including labor (and equipment, if applicable).
- Details concerning the warranty for the project.
- A written estimate is a legally binding contract and is enforceable in a court of law should the work not be completed properly or you have problems after the work is completed, but within the warranty period.
Make certain the written estimate has all the information you need. Be sure that you receive a copy.
